About the Institute
COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) began as a COMSATS project in 1998 and was granted the charter of a degree-awarding institution by the Government of Pakistan in 2000. Its Islamabad campus is located in Chak Shahzad, and the university operates additional campuses in Lahore, Abbottabad, Wah, Attock, Sahiwal, and Vehari plus a virtual campus.
