Gomal University

Gomal University is a public research university in Dera Ismail Khan, founded in 1974 with its foundation ceremony performed by Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. It is among the oldest public universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, spread across an 800-plus acre main campus, with over 22,000 students enrolled across 9 faculties and 48 departments, and affiliating dozens of government and private colleges.
