About the Institute
This government college in the Phuleli/Kali Mori area of Hyderabad traces its origins to Government College Kali Mori, founded on 1 October 1917 by Annie Besant. Administration passed to the Sindh government in 1948, and on its centenary the institution was elevated to full university status in 2018 as Government College University Hyderabad.
