About the Institute
Government College for Women, Sahiwal was established in 1951 as a degree-granting institution and relocated to its current building on Sir Syed Road, old Civil Lines, Sahiwal, in 1963. It offers FA, FSc, ICS, BS and MA Urdu programs and is affiliated with BISE Sahiwal and Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan.
