About the Institute
Government Postgraduate College, Sahiwal, formerly known as Government College Montgomery, was established in 1942 in a rented building on Circular Road, initially offering intermediate and degree-level arts classes. BSc science classes were introduced in 1950. It became a postgraduate college in 1969, starting with an MSc in Physics, and is situated near Canal Colony and Farid Town.
