About the Institute
One of the pioneering institutions of higher education in the Swat Valley, founded in 1952 by Miangul Abdul Haq Jahanzeb, the last ruler of the former Swat State. It offers undergraduate programs in 12 disciplines and postgraduate programs in 13 fields including Computer Science, Economics, Chemistry, English and Physics, and is affiliated with the University of Swat; a girls' hostel has served postgraduate female students since 2003.
