About the Institute
A public women's university in Bahawalpur, originally founded in 1944 by Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi V as an intermediate college. It was upgraded to a degree college in 1957, became a postgraduate college in 2010, and was granted full university status in December 2012. It is the only women's university in Bahawalpur Division, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs across departments including Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Physics, Zoology, Food Science and Technology, and Biotechnology.
