About the Institute
National Defence University (NDU) is Pakistan's apex public university for education in strategy, statecraft, warfare, public policy, leadership, and national security studies, formally established in 2007, with roots tracing back to the National Defence College founded in 1971. It operates several constituent colleges including the Faculty of Contemporary Studies, ISSRA, and the Command and Staff College.
