About the Institute
The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) is a postgraduate research institute and public policy think tank founded in 1957 and granted autonomous status by the Government of Pakistan in 1964. Located on the Quaid-i-Azam University campus in Islamabad, PIDE has offered degree-granting postgraduate and doctoral programs in economics and related fields since 2006.
