About the Institute
Peoples University of Medical & Health Sciences for Women (PUMHS) is a public women-only medical university in Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah), tracing its origins to Peoples Medical College founded in 1974. It was upgraded to university status through a 2009 act of the Sindh government and offers undergraduate programs including MBBS, DPT, Pharm-D and BSN, along with postgraduate degrees such as MD, MS, FCPS and PhD.
