About the Institute
Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University (PMAS-AAUR) is a public research university in Rawalpindi that traces its origins to an agricultural college established in the 1970s, upgraded to full university status in 1994. Named after the scholar Pir Meher Ali Shah, it specializes in dryland agriculture research and education while also offering programs in sciences, social sciences, management, computer science, and veterinary studies.
