About the Institute
Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU) traces its roots to Rawalpindi Medical College, established in 1974, which was upgraded to university status by the Government of Punjab in September 2017. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and is affiliated with major teaching hospitals including Holy Family Hospital, Benazir Bhutto Hospital, and DHQ Hospital Rawalpindi.
