About the Institute
Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) is a public research university in Khairpur named after the mystic poet Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai. Established in the 1970s and granted full university status in 1987, it hosts 29 departments across seven faculties and around 8,000 students, with additional teaching campuses in Shahdadkot and Ghotki, emphasizing research in humanities, archaeology, Sindh studies and natural sciences.
