About the Institute
Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU) is a public medical university in Larkana, established on 9 July 2009 when Chandka Medical College was upgraded to university status. It comprises five constituent colleges: Chandka Medical College, Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Medical College, Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences, Bibi Aseefa Dental College, and Benazir Institute of Nursing and Community Health Sciences.
