The Islamia University of Bahawalpur

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) traces its origin to Jamia Abbasia, founded in 1925, and was chartered as a public university under the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Act 1975. With its main Abbasia Campus in Bahawalpur and additional campuses in Baghdad-ul-Jadeed, Khawaja Fareed, Bahawalnagar, and Rahim Yar Khan, it enrolls over 60,000 students and is recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
