About the Institute
The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) traces its origins to the Punjab Agricultural College and Research Institute, founded in 1906, which was upgraded to West Pakistan Agricultural University in 1961 and renamed University of Agriculture, Faisalabad in 1973. Spanning roughly 2,550 acres, it is the largest university by area in Pakistan and is recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
