About the Institute
The University of Sargodha traces its roots to O'Brien Islamia High School (1916), which evolved into De'Montmorency College in 1929 and was later renamed Government College Sargodha. It was granted independent public university status by the Government of Punjab in 2002, and today operates multiple campuses, institutes, and affiliated colleges across the region.
